Addiction Treatment and Suboxone Therapy

Our providers prescribe medications through a trusted compounding pharmacy, which will ship directly to your home for added convenience.
We work with both insurance-based and self-pay patients:
- If your insurance covers the prescribed medication, it will be billed as usual.
- If not, or if you do not have insurance, you may choose our affordable self-pay option. In this case, the cost of the medication is the patient’s responsibility.

What telehealth services does Mind & Body Wellness offer?
Mind & Body Wellness provides telehealth mental health therapy (for ages 3+), Suboxone/MAT for opioid use disorder, primary care, ADHD medication management, weight management with GLP-1 injections, hormone replacement therapy, fertility coaching and registered dietitian services via secure video in NC and FL.
Can I get Suboxone prescribed via telehealth?
Yes. Under federal 2023 regulations, board-certified providers can prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) via telehealth without a prior in-person evaluation. Our dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner holds the required DEA credentials to prescribe Suboxone for opioid use disorder across NC and FL.
What insurance plans are accepted for telehealth?

Can a Nurse Practitioner diagnose and treat mental health conditions?
Yes. Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) are licensed to diagnose, treat and prescribe for mental health conditions independently in NC and FL. Our lead provider Leistey Tindall holds dual board certification as both FNP-BC and PMHNP-BC, the highest NP credentials available.
Is telehealth care HIPAA compliant?
Yes. All telehealth visits at Mind & Body Wellness are conducted through HIPAA-compliant video platforms with end-to-end encryption. Patient health information is stored and transmitted in compliance with federal HIPAA privacy regulations. No health information is shared without your explicit written consent.
What is the cost of a telehealth visit without insurance?
Self-pay rates vary by service and provider. We work with patients on affordable self-pay pricing. Contact our office at (910) 387-3840 for current rates. Some compounding pharmacy medications may also be available at self-pay prices shipped directly to your home.
Do you offer telehealth for children and teens?
Yes. Our licensed therapists provide mental health therapy for children ages 3 and older, as well as teens and adults. We offer confidential video sessions with consistent providers, personalized treatment plans and evidence-based approaches for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and more.
What is the difference between therapy and medication management?
Therapy involves talk-based treatment with a licensed therapist to process emotions and develop coping skills. Medication management involves a psychiatric NP evaluating and prescribing medications for mental health conditions. At Mind & Body Wellness, both services are available and can be coordinated together.
Do you serve patients outside North Carolina and Florida?
Mind & Body Wellness currently serves patients in North Carolina and Florida via telehealth. Our providers hold active state licenses in all three states. If you reside in another state, please contact our office to discuss your options.
